Police Blotter: Police Chide Boynton Terrace Resident For Relieving Himself In Elevator

Police have admonished a Boynton Terrace resident after several of his neighbors said they witnessed him urinating in the elevator.

They said it had happened on various occasions.

An officer told the man to "keep your private parts contained while in public spaces."

Robert Pennington is sorry he went back into the J.C. Penney's at Hamilton Place.

A loss control specialist recognized him as the man who earlier tried to take items from the store, then got away by giving a false name.

Pennington was charged in the previous theft of four pair of jeans valued at $227.

He was also cited for criminal impersonation.

A woman said the car she was driving was stolen after she had some alcoholic beverages at the Boathouse and at Chattanooga Billiards. Then she made a last stop in the wee hours at the Long Haul Saloon.

The Subaru, which belongs to her mother, was found unlocked and with the keys in it on the parking lot of the Subway on Brown's Ferry Road.

However, her wallet and ID were missing.
