A motorcyclist died after a Friday afternoon crash on Wilcox Boulevard.
He was identified as Christopher Jolly, 36.
At approximately 2:38 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a motorcycle crash at 3500 Wilcox Blvd.
A motorcyclist was traveling west on Wilcox Blvd when they, for unknown reasons, lost control and left the roadway.
The rider was transported by HCEMS to a local hospital for serious injuries.
Later that evening, the victim succumbed to injuries sustained during the crash.
Investigators are attempting to notify family members of the victim.
