2 Arrested In Cleveland For Armed Robbery At Presswood Antiques

Two men were arrested Monday after an armed robbery in Cleveland. 

Cleveland Police Department officers responded to an armed robbery at 3:35 p.m., at Presswood Antiques on North Ocoee Street.  

FOX Team Officers Kody Fox, Don Nation, Matt Landolt, Jansen Vassey, Deanna Dawson and Chris Allen checked nearby residences and businesses for suspect information. 

Officer Kody Fox was contacted by a concerned citizen who said that they had witnessed two males, matching the robbery suspects' description, exit a vehicle from a business lot nearby.

The victim and other witnesses stated there were two suspects involved. Both suspects were white males. One suspect was approximately 40 years of age, wearing a backpack. The second suspect, a younger male, approximately age 20, was wearing a hat. The suspects were armed with a black handgun and a taser. Both suspects left the area on foot and were last seen walking toward the VFW off of Ocoee Street.

Officer Kody Fox checked the business and located the vehicle. Officer Fox determined that the license plate on the vehicle was stolen.

Officers and detectives waited to observe the suspect vehicle in hopes that the suspects would return.

At approximately 6:48 p.m., Detective Bill Parks and Officer Stephen Warner took the suspects into custody upon their return to their vehicle. 

The suspects were in possession of property which was reported stolen during the robbery.
