Female Bradley County Highway Department Employee Run Over By Driver-Less Truck

A Bradley County Highway Department employee was rushed to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga after being run over by a driver-less truck at the department's equipment yard on Monday morning.

Bradley County Mayor D. Gary Davis said the 50-year-old woman underwent surgery and was in stable condition, but was still in the Intensive Care Unit.

The truck went out of gear, lurched forward and struck the employee, then ran over her.
