Don't Forget To Support The Longtime East Ridge Businesses

  • Saturday, September 26, 2015

As time draws near for the opening of the East Ridge Walmart grocery and gas station, please don’t forget about the existing groceries and gas stations which have been successfully serving the community for many years.

The staff at Food Lion and Bi-Lo (now Food City) have served the area well. We all know what may happen when a Walmart moves into an area already serviced by a sufficient number of groceries and gas stations.

Take a look at Lookout Valley and a few other nearby areas.

Sometimes competition doesn’t drive prices down, it drives stores out of business. Please continue to support our already existing East Ridge groceries and gas stations.
