Harold H. Hammontree, 76, of Ooltewah, died on Saturday, January 16, 2016.

Harold was born and raised in Maryville, Tn.  He retired from Wheland Foundry and was an avid Heisey Glass Collector, UT fan and Lady Vols fan.  His other interests included birdwatching and growing rhododendrons and azaleas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jessie Hammontree; brother, Keith Hammontree; and sister, Louise Odum.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Loleta Hammontree; daughter, Jacquie (Billy) Adams; granddaughter, Tiffany Skiles; great-grandsons, R.J., Brayden and Logan; and nieces and nephew.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at the funeral home with Reverend Richard Jones officiating.

Harold requested casual attire for all services.  Jeans (etc.) are welcome.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
