Laura Jane Handley, 82, of Calhoun, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, October 18, 2016 at her home.
She was born in Chattanooga on Aug. 29, 1934 a daughter of the late John & Ruby Teague. Laura was a Licensed Practical Nurse that served as Wing 1 charge nurse for many years with Bradley Healthcare and Rehab. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Laura enjoyed cooking, painting, chrocheting but most of all spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children Patty Goodner and Kenneth Goodner; and one sister Eugina Tate.
Laura is survived by three children Cynthia Cittadini of Cleveland, TN, Teresa Gillman (Glen) of Westville, FL and Jerry Goodner of Fort Lauderdale, FL; one sister Johnnie Ruth Meeks; three brothers Kenneth Teague, Norman Teague and Robert Teague; one grandaughter that was very helpful in caring for Laura, Cindy Baker (Rusty); 12 additional grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous other extended family members; and a host of special friends.
The family will hold a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
