Verda Ruth Perry, 71, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at her residence.
She attended Clingan Ridge Baptist Church where she enjoyed the singing and choir. Her interests included going to work with her sister, Mary, artwork, movies and gathering with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isham Albert Perry and Ella Ruth Dickey Perry; brothers, Isham Edward Perry and Henry Perry; and sister, Brenda Moreland.
Survivors include her sister, Mary Mansfield and husband, Billy Mack of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews; special family members and friends; and very dear caregivers.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
Her family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday at the Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
