James L. “Catfish” Hall, 46, of Flintstone, died on Friday, February 12, 2016.

James was a native of Marion County and attended Marion County High School, but had spent the last 26 years in Flintstone. He was a self-employed contractor with Bryant & Company in Birmingham, Alabama. and was an avid fisherman.

His father, Gene Hall, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Teresa Castleberry Hall; daughters, Sarah Elisabeth Hall and Rebecca Dawn Hall, both of Flintstone; brothers, David Hall and Danny Pitassi; sisters, Carol Hall and Pattie Frances; mother, Bertie Fincher.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Brother Luke Camlic officiating. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 4–8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
