  • Friday, February 5, 2016

David Snider, former vice president of operations and chief financial officer of Technology 2020, has returned to the organization as president to lead the wind down of operations. He succeeds Kevin Kragenbrink who resigned effective Jan. 31 after the non-profit's Board of Directors voted unanimously to begin an orderly wind down after more than two decades in business.

"David has a deep understanding of Technology 2020 after serving as a key employee for over 16 years," said David Bradshaw, the organization's newly named chairperson. "We need his knowledge and financial expertise to ensure an orderly and thorough wind down process."

Mr. Snider will spend the next several weeks developing a comprehensive plan that must be approved by the Technology 2020 Board of Directors.

"Technology 2020 made a significant contribution to our region's entrepreneurial ecosystem for more than 21 years," Mr. Bradshaw said. "We are proud of this legacy.

The Board of Directors encourages organizations that have alignment with Technology 2020's mission and an interest in continuing some of the organization's programs under their own umbrella to contact Mr. Snider at Technology 2020, 1020 Commerce Park Dr., Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
