Charles Edward Stieg, 71, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. Chuck retired in 2012 from Manufacturer’s Chemical Company in Cleveland.  He was an avid golfer and member of Council Fire Golf Club.  Chuck was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Leola Stieg and his only brother, Dan.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sherry Swinea and his sons, Charles Aric (Kassie) Stieg and Chad Daniel Stieg.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 7, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Don Stovall officiating.  Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
