CFC Wins 2-0 Over Birmingham Hammers

Chattanooga FC's David Perez and a goal and an assist Saturday night to lead the NPSL's Southeast Conference top team to at least a share in the conference title.  

Perez's assist came in the 34th minute from the left side.  Samuel Goni redirected the pass into the goal for a 1-0 lead over the Hammers.  

In the 82nd minute, Perez buried a shot into the net to give CFC a 2-0 lead. 

Gregga Hartley and Tom Halsall combined for the shutout in the goal.  Hartley was injured in the 72nd minute and Halsall finished out the game. 

The men will travel to Memphis on Saturday to take on Memphis City FC.

The CFC women will be at home on Tuesday taking on the Knoxville Lady Force at 7 p.m.
