Chattanooga FC Men Trip Memphis 2-1, Woman Fall To Texans

The Chattanooga FC men's soccer team earned a 2-1 win over Memphis Saturday night before a 3400 plus crowd at Finley Stadium.  

Jon Finley scored CFC's first goal in the sixth minute off a corner kick.  Memphis scored 10 minutes later to tie the game at one. 

Will Roberts converted on a Jon Finlay pass in the 31st minute to give CFC the go ahead goal.  The 2-1 lead would last until the final minute giving CFC a 3-0 NPSL league record. 

The Chattanooga women also played on Saturday losing to Gulf Coast Texans 2-1.  Ashley Harber scored the game tieing goal in the 34th minute but the Texans would find the game winner in the 69th minute.  

The CFC women will travel to Birmingham on Saturday to take on Alabama FC. 

The CFC men will host Knoxville Force on Tuesday and travel to New Orleans on Saturday.
