Burns Wins Women's City Golf Title

Bethany Burns won the Women's City golf tournament on Friday at the Signal Mountain Golf and Country Club.

Burns defeated former Signal Mountain High teammate Taylor Gardner in the final.

Burns will be heading for Dartmouth College this fall while Gardner will be a junior at Signal Mountain.

Sharon Powell defeated Shanna Jenkins for the first flight title.

Gail Gann beat Debbie Lambert in the second flight final.

Jean Cates was the B Division winner over Dianne Dycus.

Lynn Heck was the low-gross senior in qualifying while Gayla Smith was the handicap tournament winner with a 69.
