Bridge Christian Church To Host Free Family Movie Series

Bridge Christian Church announces plans for its fifth annual family movie series, Movies in the Park at Dark, at Heritage Park.  The first movie, “Inside Out”, will be shown on Friday, Aug. 12 and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be featured on Friday, Sep. 30.   

The family-friendly movies will be shown on a large inflatable screen at Heritage Park, and will begin at dark.  The events are free, open to the public and popcorn and drinks will be available for $1 each. The fun starts at 7:30 p.m., and families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the shows.  Movies will be cancelled for inclement weather.

Heritage Park is located at 1428 Jenkins Road in Chattanooga.  The 22-acre park has a walking track, playground, picnic tables, bocce ball court, public art and an off-leash dog park. 

Bridge Christian Church is a non-denominational, independent Christian Church that was founded in 2010.  Gatherings are held at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday at Westview Elementary School in the East Brainerd community of Chattanooga.  For more information about Bridge Christian Church, call the church at 423-463-0202.
