A second arrest has been made in a case in which a Nashville man said a trip to Chattanooga to meet two women did not turn out as well as he expected.

Jason Hixson said he had never met the girls before. It was arranged to meet at a Chattanooga hotel on May 21.

He said he was with the women for about 30 minutes before there was a knock on the door. Two men were at the door, including one who put a gun to his head and demanded his money.

Hixson said he fled the room on foot, dodging a bullet that was fired at him.

He ran through some woods before calling police.

Hixson said a rifle and other personal property was stolen from him.

One of the women he met at the hotel was identified as 19-year-old Sara Ashlee Meredith. She was interviewed and admitted taking part in the robbery. She said they had the help of Jeremy Skipworth.

Ms. Meredith was arrested earlier.

Skipworth, 31, of 1129 Ely Road, Hixson, has been taken into custody.
