Hoyt George, 75, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, died on the morning of August 26, 2016 at home.
He grew up in Red Bay, Al. Graduated from Red Bay High School in 1958. He served in the U.S. Air Force as part of SAC. He worked as an operator at the Occidental Chemical Plant in Muscle Shoals Alabama.
Hoyt is the son of the late Philo and Lizzie George. He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Sandra Hester George.
He is survived by his daughter, Laryessa Holmes, her husband, John Holmes and grandson, Ian Holmes.
Services will be held at the Burnout Baptist Church Cemetery at Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. CST.
