Kenneth Reed Smallen, 60, of Harrison, died suddenly on Wednesday, September 21, 2016.

Kenneth was a NASCAR lover, enjoyed vintage cars and was the World of Wheels Champion. He loved everyone and loved being a father and grandfather.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Smallen and Frances Smallen McAfee; brother, Charles “Bub” Smallen.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Josh and Rasha Smallen, Tunnel Hill, and Seth and Kari Smallen, Chattanooga; daughters and sons-in-law, Jana and Phillipe Robertson, Fort Oglethorpe, and Erin and Corey Quarles of Chattanooga; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Mary Smallen, Pueblo, Co., and Steve and Betty Smallen, Birmingham; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Mike Miller, Chattanooga; grandsons, Christian Smallen of Cuesta, Al., Judson Chaffin, Garrett Robertson, and Blake Robertson, all of Fort Oglethorpe; granddaughters, Morgan Smallen, Tunnel Hill, and Kadence Chaffin, Fort Oglethorpe; several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, at the North Chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn.
