Larry Pence, 61, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017, in a local hospital.
He was born in LaFayette, to the late Robert C. and Dessie Wallin Pence. He was a lifelong resident of LaFayette and was of the Church of God faith. He was a former employee of Luau Pools in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and was a very skilled mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working on old cars.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Brenda Owensby, brothers: Leon, Wayne and Jerry Pence.
He is survived by his sister: Patricia Ann Pence of LaFayette, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday after 11 a.m. until the service.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Bryan Cemetery, LaFayette.
