Hardin Named SSAC Defensive Player Of The Week

The SSAC announced the Week No. 6 SSAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week, presented by BoxOut Sports. Millene Cabral of Martin Methodist (Tenn.) was named SSAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Rachel Hardin of Dalton State (Ga.) was named SSAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
The awards are based on performance for the week of Sept. 25 – Oct. 1.

Millene Cabral (Martin Methodist – JR – FWD – Alegre, Brazil)

  •         Cabral has won the honor five out of six weeks and a RedHawk has taken it each week
  •         In the lone game of the week, Cabral scored all four goals in a 4-0 win over Campbellsville (Ky.)
  •         Cabral leads the NAIA with 25 goals and 57 points

Rachel Hardin (Dalton State – SR – GK – Augusta, Ga.)

  •         She is the fifth different goalkeeper to win the honor this year
  •         In the Roadrunners' lone game, Hardin made five stops for the 2-0 shutout victory
  •         She has delivered back-to-back shutouts and has 29 saves on the year
