Hughes, Barbara Ellen (Graysville)

Barbara Ellen Hughes, 68, of Graysville, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at Rhea Medical Center.

Barbara was born in Rhea County on March 22, 1949, the daughter of Erma Jean (Nelson) Leming.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Hughes, her mother and father, brother Harley Nelson and grandson Trevor Hughes.

Barbara was a homemaker and attended the Church of God in Graysville.

She is survived by her two sons, Gary Lee Hughes (Michelle) Dayton, Tracy Dewayne Hughes Graysville, daughter, Bobbie Sure McConnell Graysville, brother, Williams Thomas Leming, Jr., (Sherry) Graysville, grandchildren Ashley Smith, Alisha Hughes, Annalee Hughes, Tyler Hughes, Taylor Hughes, Aaron McConnell, Ryan Holloway and Kacey Holloway.

Funeral services for Barbara will be held on Thursday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. She will be laid to rest in Pleasant View Cemetery Graysville.
