Scott Tilson, 57, of Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Holbert Tilson.
Those left to cherish his memory are mother, Edith Smiley; daughters, Melinda (Michael) Marino, Megan Tilson, Ashley (Chris) Broom; step-daughter, Laura Ryan; step-son, Richard Ryan; brothers, Derrick Tilson, Rodney (Polly) Tilson, Douglas (Linda) Tilson, Brad (Sharon) Tilson, Timothy (Keena) Wiggins; sister, Sonda (Joseph) Sperzel; life-long companion, Gail Tilson and six grandchildren.
He was a life time member of VFW Post 4848.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 6, from 4-8 p.m. CST.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, Oct. 7, with visitation at 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. CST with Brother Doyle Chamblee officiating.
Interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery.
