Creeden, Leah Annette

  • Friday, November 3, 2017

Leah Annette Creeden,  93, of Hixson, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She was born October 8th, 1924, in St. Vincent to William and Emily Clarke. She was one of nine children. She showed her family what true, constant, and absolute love meant. She had an insurmountable confidence in each of her children, and that motivated them to be the best they could be. In the darkest of times, she was the light that brought everyone back home.

Leah was preceded in death by her siblings, Sydney, Eric, Clifton, Lewis, and Lionel, and by her children: Beverly, Jimmy, and Louise. She is survived by dozens of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and eight children.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy Daisy, 423 843-2525.
