Joe Edward Glass, Jr., age 65 of Cleveland, Tennessee, departed this life Tuesday, November 28, 2017.
He was born Sept. 1, 1952 in Sardis, Ms., a son of the late Joseph Glass Sr. and Ann Lee Coleman Tarpley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Diane Glass; and brother, Mark Tarpley.
He love to ride his motorcycle and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel Glass and Allison Ferguson of Rossville, James and Rhonda Thomas of Dalton; grandchildren, Breannah Glass, Emily Glass of Chickamauga, Stephanie Parker of Tunnel Hill, Katie Thomas, Kimberly Thomas of Dalton; brother, Mike Tarpley of Ringgold.
Service to celebrate the life of Joe Edward Glass Jr. will be held Thursday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend John Tudor officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-2 p.m. on Thursday.
