Anderson, Ray Everett

Ray Everett Anderson, 86, was called home by our Lord on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017.  His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly.

Born August 28, 1931, in Palmer, Tn., he lived in Rossville with his wife of 60 years and family.  Ray was an Army veteran. He was a truck driver with over 4.5 million safe driving miles and retired at age 73.  He enjoyed watching the Braves, spoiling his grandkids and great-grandkids, fishing and hunting. 

Survivors include his wife Judy A. Anderson, and children Roxanne Ellis, Raynell Littleton, Crystal Pierce, Tim Anderson, Rebecca Hulgan and Thomas Anderson. Ray was preceded in death by his parents Riley and Keenitha Anderson.

A graveside service will be honorably held with military honors at the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8.
