Stork, Edward, Sr.

Edward Stork, Sr., 83, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, at his residence. 

He was the son of the late Edward and Hazel Tate Stork and was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Zarzour. 

Ed was a United States Navy veteran and had served on the USS Pickaway and the USS Franklin Roosevelt.  Ed was a member of American Legion Post #95 and was also a pilot.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Stork; children, Tommy (Lana) Thompson, Tracey (Mike Manley) Stork, Tonya (Raymond) Chastain, Eddie (Johnny Lee) Stork, Jr., sisters, Susie David and Sharon Crook; grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) Thompson, Matt, Savannah, and Marc Thompson; and great-grandchildren, Carrie and Anna; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers,  memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn. 38105.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.
