Craig J. Weatherly, 46, of Ooltewah, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 24, 2017.
A lifelong resident of Ooltewah, he attended the Trousdale School in Cleveland, Tn., and was a member of the Ooltewah Baptist Church and the Ooltewah-Collegedale Kiwanis Aktion Club.
Craig was a huge Tennessee Vols fan, he also loved his bible devotions and walking his dog “Smoky”.  He also enjoyed shopping and spending time with his friends.
 
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy C. Weatherly Jr.
 
Survivors include his mother, Connie Weatherly; brother, Kent Weatherly and his wife Faith; niece and nephew, Aleena and Jonathan; his special girlfriend, Leslie Burnette.  He is also survived by a large extended family and special friends, Shane Smith, Susan Turner, and all of his friends at the Trousdale School.
 
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, in the Valley View Chapel with the Reverend Chris Gaither officiating.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made in Craig’s name to the Ooltewah-Collegedale Kiwanis Aktion Club, P.O. Box 821, Collegedale, TN 37315-0821.
 
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, before the service at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
