Billy Raymond Adkerson, 83, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 in a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Adkerson; two sisters; and one brother.
He is survived by his wife, Mable Adkerson; one daughter, Kim Ricketson and her husband Randy of Cleveland; and three granddaughters, Caitlyn Ricketson, Alyssa Ricketson and Laci Ricketson.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Friday March 31, in the chapel of Serenity Grissom Funeral Home.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.
Interment with military honors will also take place on Friday, March 31, at 1:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
