Johnnie Mae Raymer, 88, of Lookout Mountain, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017.

Johnnie was the wife of the late Randall Raymer and was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bertha Stragand, sister, Zetta Fine and brother, W. A. Stragand.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her two grandchildren, traveling and cooking for her family. 

Survivors include children, Thomas A. (Stella) Raymer, Donna (the late David) Holcomb and Buster (Martha) Raymer, grandchildren, Katie Scarborough and Jordan Scarborough and sister, Dorothy Sands (Charles) Overby.

The family would like to thank the Staff of The Bridge at Ooltewah and Chattanooga Kidney Center.

Flowers will be accepted; however if you prefer, memorial contributions may be made to Mark Casson Metanoia Prison Ministry at First Presbyterian Church , 554 McCallie Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37402 or East Brainerd Church of Christ Missions, 7745 East Brainerd Rd., Chattanooga, TN 37421.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 20, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. with services to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace with Minister John Cupp and Bill Sampson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Forest Hills Cemetery.

Johnnie’s favorite color was pink, everyone is requested to wear pink to her funeral service.
