Burroughs, Alan J. (Trenton)

Alan J. Burroughs, 61, of Trenton passed away Tuesday Sept. 19, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was employed as a maintenance technician for Wrigley of Chattanooga for 40 plus years. He was a member of the Davis Chapel Baptist Church of Fort Payne, Al.

Mr. Burroughs was preceded in death by his parents F.C. and Abbie Burroughs, sister Jean Walker.

Surviving include his loving wife of 35 years Carol Watkins Burroughs of Trenton; children Chris (Laurel) Berry of Henegar, Al., and Jillian (Daniel) Pike of Trenton; five grandchildren Jordan, Mason, Olivia, and Kate Berry, and Gabriel Pike; one sister Anita Gibson and fiancé Danny Friddell; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held noon Friday, Sept. 22 in the chapel with Bro. Eddie Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens – South. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until service time Friday at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton.
