Cleveland State Cross Country Posts Personal Best As Austin Peay Invitational

Cleveland State Cross Country participated in the Austin Peay Invitational Saturday where each runner posted personal best times.

The top runners were Madison Guider who ran a time of 20:28, finishing 24th overall and Luis Perez beat his last time by three minutes and 16 seconds, clocking in with a time of 20:20. Luis finished 23rd overall.

Head Coach David Kyle said, "Every single one of our runners improved on their times by minutes which is huge in running. This is exactly what we were looking for and we're extremely happy with how we did this weekend. We'll be focusing on those times this week as we try to replicate if not, improve on those times again at our next race." 

Next on their schedule, CSCC will travel to Maryville, Tn. to race in the Maryville Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.
