Southern Students To Devote MLK Day Serving At Ooltewah’s Samaritan Center

More than 40 students from Southern Adventist University will serve at the Samaritan Center in Ooltewah Monday, as part of the University’s 25th annual Martin Luther King (MLK) Community Service Day.
 
From accepting and sorting donations, to working in the small sort room and decorating thank you envelopes, these students will spend their morning helping their local community.
 
Students will arrive at the Samaritan Center around 9:30 a.m. on Monday and leave at 12:30 p.m.
 
Southern’s MLK Service Day coordinates more than 1,000 participants to serve more than 30 local organizations and community members within the Chattanooga area.
