Person Found After Being Lost On Aetna Mountain

A person who was lost on Aetna Mountain was found late Saturday morning.
 
At 2:22 a.m. The Chattanooga Fire Dept was dispatched to the 900 block of River Gorge Drive on a person lost on Aetna Mountain.
 
Once information was gathered, Chattanooga Fire Department called for assistance from several surrounding agencies to assist with the search.
Teams from Hamilton County STARS, Waldens Ridge, Mowbray Mountain and Dallas Bay responded.
 
It appeared that the lost party had experienced mechanical issues with the ATV they were riding and started walking to find help and became lost. The person was found at approximately 11:30 a.m. by one of the search teams.

Chattanooga Police along with Hamilton County Rescue also assisted with the operation.
