Mary Lee Harris
Mary Lee “Mickie” Harris was born September 27, 1938, and passed away on January 31, 2018, due to an extended illness at 79 years old.
She was loved by her late husband, Benny Ray Harris, Sr. her late parents, Willie Edward and Lillie Mae McCanless and her late grandparents, Mary and Ruby Troutman.
She was also loved by the living: her sons, Robert Edward Harris and Benny Ray Harris, Jr.; her daughters-in-law, Deborah Lynn Wilson-Harris and Ana Harris; her only granddaughter, McKenzie Drew Harris; her brother, Martin McCanless and many nieces and nephews.
She was a fan of Mickie Mouse. She was self-employed as an accountant. She was a loving and strong woman, who will be missed dearly by many.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12-2 p.m.
