Woman Dies Who Was Struck By Dade County School Bus

A woman who was struck by a Dade County school bus has died.

Linda Diane Hulgan died at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, officials said.

Ms. Hulgan had been transported to Erlanger Hospital after the incident on Tuesday afternoon.

She was crossing the street when struck by the bus driven by 61-year-old Angela Payne of Trenton.

There were no children on the bus.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating.

The bus driver was on her way to pick up students at Dade County Middle School.

Ms. Hulgan was crossing State Road 136/White Oak Gap Road. The driver turned left and struck her.
