Peggy “Jean” Baker, 78, passed away on March 11, 2018 at Rosewood Assisted Living in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.

 

She was a native of Chattanooga, and graduated from Central High School and Chattanooga State.

 

Jean worked in transport at Leaseway, Penske and Covenant Transport before retiring in 2007.

 

Jean was preceded in death by her father, Alden Goodner; mother, Mildred Goodner; brothers, James and Bill Goodner; and niece, Yvonne Crocker.

 

Survivors include her brother, Boyd (Judy) Goodner; special nephew, Steve (Mary) Goodner; and several nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

 

The family would like to thank the caregivers from Rosewwod Assisted Living and Tapestry Hospice for the love and care shown to Peggy.

 

There will not be any visitation or services, but condolences can be shared with the family at www.chattanoogavalleyviewchapel.com.
