Viola McKenzie Simpson
Viola McKenzie Simpson, 82, quietly passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her adoring husband of 48 years, Charles Simpson.
She leaves to cherish her memory a superbly devoted son, Barry Simpson; a loving daughter, Joycelyn Harrison; and loving step-children, Patricia Ziegler, Charles Simpson, and Jean Shropshire. She is further survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, March 24, at Warren Chapel AMD Church, and the family receive friends from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
