The Covenant women's tennis team fell to North Carolina Wesleyan, 7-2, in the first round of the USA South Tournament on Friday afternoon in LaGrange.

Covenant drops to 9-9 on the year.
N.C. Wesleyan, ranked regionally at No. 11 by the ITA, goes to 10-3.

N.C. Wesleyan would take the remaining five singles matches to earn the win. N.C. Wesleyan will move on and face Piedmont on Saturday in the semifinal round.
