Dustin Kershaw has been charged with robbing a donut shop at gunpoint.

Kershaw, 22, of 2414 Bending Oak Dr., was charged with aggravated robbery.

In the incident last Tuesday, a female clerk at the Tasty Donuts shop on Jenkins Road said a white male entered the store and asked about the menu. She said when she turned back around he was pointing a small black revolver at her.

She said he demanded that she hand over money from the cash register. When she opened the drawer, he gave her a gray plastic bag to put the money in.

He then left and ran behind the building.

Police said Kershaw emerged as a potential suspect. The clerk picked him out of a photo lineup "without hesitation."
