CSO Youth Orchestra Hosts Chamber Ensemble Dessert Concert Sunday

  • Tuesday, April 17, 2018

The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera Youth Orchestras continue their 2017/18 season with the Chamber Ensemble Dessert Concert on Sunday at 3 p.m. at First Christian Church.

The CSOYO’s annual Chamber Ensemble Dessert Concert features advanced musicians from the CSOYO Symphony for an afternoon performance and dessert.  Students in the small ensembles dedicate extra time outside of their regular orchestra rehearsals to work with professional coaches from the CSO and UTC.

Take a tour through music history as the students perform selections by iconic composers in this free afternoon concert. Selections include pieces from Bach, Debussy, Mozart, Dvorak, Sousa, and Cole Porter.

There is no admission charge, but donations are appreciated and reservations are required. RSVP online at http://csoyo.chattanoogasymphony.org/events/ensemble-dessert-concert-rsvp/.

For more details call 267-9011 or email csoyo@chattanoogasymphony.org. First Christian Church is at 600 McCallie Ave.
