Selma Ruth Partin, 87, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 15, 2018. She was a life-long resident of Catoosa County. Mrs. Partin was a member of Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle for over 50 years, where she was a member of the Bible Learners Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Chattanooga Funeral Home Lift Group for widows and widowers and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family and numerous close friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. “Jerry” Partin; parents, James and Beulah Epps; brothers, Junior, Freddie and John Epps; son-in-law, Nicholas Vlasis; and great-grandson, Wiley Ward.
Survivors include her loving daughters, Anita Vlasis and Cheryl (Steve) Ward; grandchildren, Kevin (Amy) Ward and Nicole Vlasis; and great-granddaughter, Lucy Kate Ward.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Justin Gazaway and Pastor Jerry Atkins officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
