Artwork Benefit Sale To Benefit Nickels For Nepal

  • Wednesday, June 6, 2018

Nickels for Nepal is hosting a sale of donated artwork to benefit the children in remote village schools in Nepal. Watercolor artwork in a variety of sizes has been donated by Ernest Barnes of Tampa, Fl. as well as various mixed media artwork created by Larry Bullington of The Masters Studio.

As board chair of Nickels for Nepal, a non-profit based in Chattanooga, Chris Hockert states the importance of this sale to raise funds to support school children in the remote villages supported in Nepal. "The school children in Nepal that we support would not have any uniforms to attend school and remain in school," said Ms. Hockert. "They would also not have any school supplies or an opportunity for educational scholarships.”

The Artwork Benefit Sale is at Braxton Mill, 8719 Hixson Pike.  The sale hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

For more information contact Christine Hockert at 596-9217 or email at chockert@comcast.net.
