Syble “Dolly” Jean Smith Byram, 70, of South Pittsburg, TN., was called out to meet our  Lord, Friday, July 13, 2018.

She was of Baptist faith and a member for life of Macedonia Baptist Church in New Hope, TN.

Syble “Dolly” Smith Byram was born May 17, 1948, to the late Mitchell and Ruby Talley Smith and was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Byram; daughter, Sonya I. Byram; son Travis Mitchell Byram; grandson, Kenneth Quiton Byram;

Those left to cherish her memory are two sons of whom she was very proud, Keith E. (Kathy) Byram and Nathan T. (Kelly) Byram; grandchildren, Keisha Standfield, Amanda Byram, Johnathan T. Byram, Jordan Byram, Blake Thomas Byram and Amber Byram Buggy; a host of sweet and dear great-grandchildren. She treasured all of her family as Grand Ma` Ma`: sisters, Gladys (Bo) kirk, Eva JO (Adam) Barnwell, Barbara G. Bryant Wilson; brothers, Alfred E. (Sarah) Nabors, Floyd (Wilma) Nabors, Mitchell “Bo” (Leola) Smith, Larry R. Bryant; several nieces and nephews she loved with all her heart; her loving dog Coco; honorary family the Virgil and Lean Bryant and all their children. She loved them like brothers and sisters; honorary gentleman Kenneth R. Purdy; more friends than there is room to name and she loved them all as family. She wanted all listed and that she loved them; her wonderful neighbors and church friends. She leaves her love.

She was raised in New Hope and for a while Chicago. She went to school in Chicago but mostly here, where her heart lies. She lived in Chattanooga for a few years after her husband passed and leaves her love to all, but her final years here by her family and friends.

She leaves her heart felt thank you to Christina and all the others at Tate Funeral Home. The many who come to remember her and the gifts and their love. The pastors who prays and reads her obituary a special thanks especially if it's good. I hope to see all of you in heaven. So please make sure your heart is right with God. If you haven’t. Thank you for your time and goodness. Always remember how pretty I was so I’ll leave you laughing. I love you sons and everyone.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 16, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. CST.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Tate Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 16, at 2 p.m. CST. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Tate Funeral Home LLC, Jasper, TN.
