Anna Ruth Wilson, 85, went home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2018.

Anna was born in Houlka, Mississippi and graduated from Houlka High School. She was a long time member of Brainerd Baptist Church. Anna was a contributor to the success of Air Terminal Parking which eventually became Republic Parking Systems. She was a long time Shaklee coordinator for over 40 years. She was a talented seamstress, a wonderful cook and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by the untimely passing of her beloved daughter, Bridget Nichols just 12 short days ago, her husband, James “J.T.” Wilson, her parents, and her sisters, Mary L. Joseph and Linda Lindsay.

Left behind to cherish Anna’s memory are her children, Pamela (Ken) Stansell, Georgetown, Tn., Susan (Mike) Perruso, Dayton, son-in-law, Charles “Nick” Nichols, Tupelo, Ms., step-son, Michael (Melissa) Wilson, Alexander City, Al., step-daughter, Lynn (Steve) Cox, Montgomery, AL., 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren, sister, Barbara (Jim) Miles, and a brother, Bill Strait, both of Rossville, several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Anna’s life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 27, at 1 p.m. with Minister Gary Clark officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 11 a.m. until service time. She will be laid to rest with her husband in the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2 p.m.

A special thank you to her special friends, Betty Gilreath, Franklin O’Neal, wonderful friend and neighbor, John Cline, faithful friends, Sandra Wild, Barbara Bates and Callie.    

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contribution made in Anna’s memory to either Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607, or to White Fields Overseas Evangelism, P.O. Box 1089, Joplin, Mo. 64802.

Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn. 37412.
