Michael Davidson, 72, has died from injuries sustained in an accident last week.
On Wednesday, at approximately 7 a.m., the Traffic Division responded to 1200 East 3rd Street on a two-vehicle crash.
It was determined that a Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Mr.
Davidson, was traveling south on North Holtzclaw. A GMC Terrain, driven by Stephen Coleman, 34, was traveling west on East 3rd Street. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Mr. Davidson was transported with undetermined injuries to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS. Coleman was cited for expired registration and no insurance.
CPD's Traffic Unit was notified on Sunday that Mr. Davidson succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
