Hurst, McDaniel “Mack”

McDaniel “Mack” Hurst, 88, of Red Bank, Tn., passed away on December 2, 2019.  

He was a member of the Alhambra Shrine, Scottishrite and Red Bank Masonic Lodge.  

He was preceded in death by his wife Edna L. (Martin) Hurst; parents Dan and Amanda Brady Hurst; brothers:  Bill Hurst, LeRoy Hurst, Harmon Hurst; sisters Lona Bradwell, Molly Pate.

Survivors include his wife Louvella Parker Hurst; two daughters Janice Collier of Chattanooga, Ginger Vick (Lynn) of Rossville; grandchildren: James T. Ayers of Chattanooga, Brandy Ayers of Chattanooga, Sonny Vick (Taylor) of Rossville, Natalie Tuders (Wes) of Chattanooga, and John Parker of Atlanta; brother, Raymond Lightsey of Valdosta, Ga.; seven great-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace.

Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners Cripple Children’s Hospital.
