A man was found dead in McMinn County early Sunday morning in a pond near his home.
Authorities said a woman who was doing meth at the residence on County Road 788 first wandered out into the water.
The man then went out after her. He was later found unresponsive.
The woman was rescued from the water and taken to a hospital to be checked out.
