Ernest Fitzgerald Carthorn
Ernest Fitzgerald Carthorn, 54, passed away on February 14, 2019, in Chattanooga.
Ernest was born Jan. 23, 1965, in Chattanooga, to Ernest and Ina Faye Carthorn.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Tonya Johnson, daughters, Porsche Blunt, Sanandra Carthorn and Lateefah Johnson; son, Deonta McClain; grandchildren, Kaila, Toni-monet, Travis, Mircle, Deonta, Delaney, Christopher, Deasia, Christyle and Bentley; one grandchild, Aidyn Blunt.
The body will lie in state beginning at noon on Tuesday, Feb. 27, and the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
