Robert Davis, 72, Dies From Injuries Sustained In Vehicle Fire On Saturday

Robert Davis, 72, has died from injuries sustained in a vehicle fire early Saturday morning.

A 9-1-1 call was made Saturday at 2:30 a.m. reporting a vehicle fire and structure endangerment at 2806 Suck Creek Road. 

Walden’s Ridge Emergency Services responded to the fire as well as the Chattanooga Fire Department, an automatic Mutual Aid Company for Walden’s Ridge Emergency Services. HCEMS arrived on the scene and transported Mr. Davis with third degree burns on his lower body to Erlanger Medical Center. 

Mr. Davis passed away after being transported to the Wellstar Cobb Hospital Burn Unit in Austell, Ga.

 The Investigation into the fire and death is ongoing.
