  • Wednesday, March 20, 2019

The attorney for the family of a city police officer who died in a hit and run is asking a Ringgold restaurant to preserve all evidence in the case.

The family of Officer Nicholas Galinger has sued Soddy Daisy Postmaster Janet Kirk Hinds for $10 million in the officer's death on Hamill Road.

The preservation of evidence letter was sent to the Farm to Fork restaurant, where Ms. Hinds spent several hours prior to heading home along Hamill Road.

She had several drinks there, it was testified earlier.

The attorney is seeking copies of videos, receipts and other evidence.
